Tanjung Waka Beach offers stunning charm with white sand beaches and clear sea water. In addition, Tanjung Waka is also known for its turtle conservation activities as an effort to preserve the environment.



Tanjung Waka Festival

One of the attractions of Tanjung Waka is the Tanjung Waka Festival which holds a number of ancestral cultural heritages (traditional dances) presenting agricultural and fishery products typical of Sula to campaign activities on the importance of preserving the environment for the balance of nature. Access to Tanjung Waka

Tanjung Waka can be reached by land from Sanana with a travel time of around 1-1.5 hours. Sanana, which is the capital of the Kepulauan Sula Regency, can be reached by ship and plane from Ternate and Ambon.

There are a number of simple homestays managed by the community around Tanjung Waka such as in Fatkauyon Village. Another option for tourists who enjoy outdoor activities is to camp in the beach area by bringing a tent.
